Natural Phenomenon

Thunder--a natural phenomenon.

Some gods were linked with some natural phenomenon, like Zeus the thunder god of Greece. Thunder storm, earthquake, volcanic action, wind, rain, and lack of rain are natural phenomenon. But ancient people don’t know how these happen, their (always) thought that these were the creation of a god.

And then, many kinds of gods were created by them, thunder gods…sun gods…snow gods…moon gods…even every planet in the solar system was named after their names.

Ancient people’s thought was different with us, they are ignorant. They keep imagining the unknown.

Their knowledge are limited, you can't blame them for imagining stuffs. Just like know you imagine aliens and time-traveler and stuff. You have to thank them actually, coz they create myths and make you addicted to it. If they havn't been imaginative, u cant study myths or even combine it with science already...

Actually, I feel that mythology is what makes culture we have right now. All the cool stuff we do on Chinese New Year and all that stuff is because of what our really ancient ancestors in China thought of. Mythology is good up to some extent :P
